Tiny Glade: memories of long lost weekends

Date: 2025-01-21

After playing Tiny Glade for 10 minutes, I realized what it reminds me of. In the movie "A Good Year" a banker from London gets the news that his uncle has passed away, and he inherits his estate. He isn't really a good person, not to his coworkers, and haven't met his uncle for many many years. His first thought that he is immediately selling the whole thing, but urged by others he visits the place once again.

In the game Tiny Glade, you have this small land that you can shape, build houses, gardens, to shape it, to grow and change as you wish, without any endgoal, other than maybe our wish to make something beautiful.

The whole game has a chill vibe about it that I love. Coupled with the music, and the very nice photography mode, it might not even be a game, but an artwork program.

It is where you can create without the stress of creating. And remember the sight, sounds and smells of weekends. The food, family and games.
