My favorites games from the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted 2024

Date: 2024-11-09

Recently there was this PC gaming show, with a list of most wanted games, voted by some people who are contributors to the show.

I usually make notes from these shows, so here is my 5 games that I think is worth checking out. There are usually more games than that, but this time it was just 5. Enjoy and check them out on Steam if you are interested!

Abyssus

This is a multiplayer fps, that placed in an underwater city. Looks like different kinds of classes(?). Nice environments: I saw cave, and ancient looking buildings.

Here is the announcement trailer for it:

Alpha test is available now, via Steam.

MainFrames

A unique looking puzzle platformer, with pixelart design. You are going through a computer network via the windows and desktop of a computer operating system.

First trailer:

Demo available via Steam! According to NicheGamer, the release date is March 6th 2025.

MekkaBlood: Quary Assault

A pixelart mech game, with banging music!

Wishlist it on Steam!

Deepest Fear

From the devs: "Deepest Fear is a sci-fi horror FPS with a retro-future aesthetic. Deep beneath the ocean, a long dormant secret has been unearthed which throws mankind’s future into jeopardy. As Dr. Danni Carrol, fight your way to the heart of a secret project masterminded by your estranged father and uncover mysteries both deeply personal and terrifying in their implications."

Very atmospheric trailer:

Wishlist it on Steam!

Total Chaos

Total Chaos is interesting, because the name I recognized, and I was pretty sure it is based on GzDoom. And when I checked, I was right! This game however is the reimagined version, now published by Apogee! (a blast from the past for many of us, I am sure)

A very nice trailer:

Wishlist it on Steam! Demo will be available Q1 of 2025.
