Modus themes for Emacs are fun!
Date: 2022-10-04
Lately, I have been into Emacs customization again, and I was looking for a more permanent theme to use. I remembered a very good one, called Modus, which was created by non other then one of the Emacs gods, Protesilaos Stavrou. The theme is so good, that it's now part of the default install.
It's basically a light - dark pair of very readable themes.
The manual has detailed instructions for the installation, and I like that you can bind keys to switch between the light and dark version.
From the website:
"Highly accessible themes, conforming with the highest standard for colour contrast between background and foreground values (WCAG AAA). They also are optimised for users with red-green colour deficiency.
The themes are very customisable and provide support for a very wide range of packages. Their manual is detailed so that new users can get started, while it also provides custom code for all sorts of more advanced customisations."
