52 Books Plus!
Can we read even more?

I started to write this post as a fediverse post… As I recently started to read and watch more non-fictional stuff, I realized that I can expand it.

There are so many good books to read, interesting videos to watch, but instead we are arguing about pronouns, and other meaningless shit.

I have to say after one month, I could have easily set my book reading project to 104 books instead of 52. I discover so many new books, interesting fields of life.

I think I will read some of them, just on the side, without time limit. In fact this might be the method to read heavier topics (psychology, philosophy, etc). In this way I can make notes, and don't have to worry about the one week limit.

I am not doing this to brag about, that I can read x number of books in a year. I do this to reprogram my brain to read more, to slow down in life, to focus on something meaningful. Learning is an amazing experience, which is on a very basic level is just to rewire your brain to do new stuff in life.

I also hope to inspire some people, to see that in "the age of the attentiongrabbing screen", old methods can be still useful and have good results.

I think this whole project is part of my new philosophy of "MAKE THE WORLD SANE AGAIN!". Strip away the noise, the meaningless shouting, and focus on what is important to YOU!

This is post #11 of the #100DaysToOffload challenge, where we write 100 posts in a year. If you are interested in this event, check out the official website: 100DaysToOffload.com. Happy writing everybody! :)
